Sixpence Gallery, established in 2021 and located in Tainan, Taiwan, is a hybrid art space that regularly hosts exhibitions and offers a variety of art-related products. Breaking away from traditional gallery models, Sixpence Gallery is dedicated to providing independent creators and emerging artists with an accessible platform to showcase their work.We collaborate directly with independent artists, designers, and studios, selling original artistic products and creations. Through exhibitions, art promotion, international exchanges, and creative commercialization, we strive to act as a bridge between artists and the public. The name "Sixpence" symbolizes our founding principle, inspired by the dichotomy between the moon and sixpence, representing dreams and reality. However, we believe that pursuing ideals and maintaining everyday life are not mutually exclusive. Our goal is to support independent creators in their artistic endeavors while offering a commercial space where their ideals can also bring tangible rewards.
